Babolat Counter Vertuo 2.6 Padel Racket

Babolat Counter Vertuo 2.6 is developed for the patient, control-oriented player who wants maximum comfort in both defensive play and counter-attacking situations. The racket is designed for you if you stand solid in defence, absorb your opponent’s pressure and strike back when the opportunity to counter appears.

Racket construction

The round head shape combined with a neutral balance provides a large sweetspot and a stable feel, especially in defensive shots. At the same time, the low weight of 350 grams contributes to a high level of manoeuvrability, allowing you to get the racket into position quickly for the next shot.

Counter Vertuo 2.6 is built with soft, comfort-focused materials in both the surface and the core. The flexible hitting surface delivers a more forgiving ball contact, reduces strain on the arm and elbow and helps you generate speed even with a shorter swing. This makes the racket particularly suitable for you if you prioritise comfort, control and playability over raw power.

Counter Vertuo 2.6 vs. Counter Viper 2.6 and Counter Veron 2.6

Compared with Babolat’s Veron and Viper series, the Vertuo is lighter and more forgiving. This provides extra confidence in your game and greater tolerance when contact is not perfectly centred in the sweetspot. Counter Vertuo 2.6 is therefore an excellent choice for intermediate players and recreational players who want a stable and comfortable racket with a clear focus on control, while still having sufficient power to play effective counters.
