Babolat Air Origin Padel Racket

Babolat Air Origin: All-round padel racket for new players with ambitions

The Air Origin is made for players who want to take their first steps on the padel court to the next level. This racket combines high comfort with easy maneuverability and a forgiving sweet spot, making it easier to refine your technique while still having fun along the way.

It’s the perfect choice for beginners or early intermediate players who want to build on their foundation and develop their game. The racket suits players with a technical approach, but who still need some assistance generating speed and stability in their shots.

Shape, weight, and balance

The racket features a teardrop-shaped head and a neutral balance, offering a strong blend of both control and power. Weighing in at 345 grams (+/- 10 g), it is on the lighter side, allowing you to react quickly and turn the game to your advantage.

Materials

The frame is built as a hybrid of carbon and fiberglass, providing a balance between stiffness and flexibility. The fiberglass surface contributes to extra comfort and forgiveness, while the EVA foam core ensures a soft and forgiving feel on impact.

Comparison with other rackets in the series

Compared to other rackets in Babolat’s Air series, the Air Origin is the most beginner-friendly option. It offers more comfort and forgiveness than its bigger siblings, the Air Vertuo and Air Veron, and serves as the ideal introduction to the Air family if you don’t yet need the most advanced technologies.
